Koen Meustege opened for 6,000 before Totti Lind jammed for nearly 45,000. Wouter Schuubiers came in over the top for more than the 80,000 or so Meustege had behind. Meustege folded and the cards were turned over.

The table began to laugh. We learned later it was because the table was joking earlier about how good a hand ace-five suited was and how it had to be spades. Meustege apparently flashed the 5♠ during a couple of hands earlier in this blind level.

While it was all fun and games, Lind’s Day 1a bullet was on the line. He was unable to improve on the J♦9♥6♥3♠2♠ board and was on the rail.

While Lind was gone, his headphones remained in his seat. His headphones also had no chips and thus were returned by this reporter to Lind a few minutes later.
