D’Antoni Heading to Marrakech

The clock was paused after the money bubble broke and dozens of players headed over to Table 21 for a big flip taking place between the players that hit the rail close to the bubble.

Nikolaj D’Antoni won the flip after his K♦5♠ hit two pair on the 5♦K♠J♥10♣2♠ board and will head to the “can’t miss” Winamax Open Marrakech compliments of a package valued at around €2,500 by Winamax.

Tons of players were thrilled for D’Antoni and kudos for Winamax for adding this excitement to the Malta Poker Festival Grand Event.

In other news, we will not have a repeat champion in the MPF Grand Event as Mirko Mostaccio, who won this event in the autumn, hit the rail just short of the money.
