Ladies First! Begins

The €150 MPF Ladies First powered by Chris Read has just kicked off with 40 entries in full force after some announcements by MPF founder Ivonne Montealegre and Read.

These two will both be in the mix along with other accomplished female players including Ilana Belsky, Maureen Blochlinger, Head of Poker at The Hippodrome Kerryjane Craigie, Caroline Cove, Lydia Cugudda, Alessandra Cuntro, Deanna Dobosz, Sophie Gatherole, Lisa Roberts, La Sengphet, Carina Voncken, Anne-Marie Yuen, and many more.

Of course, Poker Power’s AJ Rudolph is also in the mix after hosting the Beginners Course a few hours ago.

Among the players that attended the course was Ashleigh Schuman. We learned from her father Jonathan Schuman, who is here thanks to winning a MPF package in the Mega Series Mystery Bounty event earlier this month, that this will be Ashleigh’s first-ever live tournament. She will be putting what she learned in the Poker Power seminar to good use and we wish her the best of luck.

Our primary focus today will be the Grand Event but we will definitely at a minimum share some photos of the Ladies First! event as well along with an update or two along the way.
