Local Hero Antoine DiGiorgio Wins HORSE

The first side event took place last night with the €230 HORSE powered by Martin Smith bringing in mixed players from around the world. The field attracted 54 entries to create a €10,368 prize pool.
Local Maltese hero Antoine DiGiorgio won the trophy along with the €2,900 top prize after he defeated Johannes Kuusisto heads-up. DiGiorgio not only is well known for his Malta Poker Fish Facebook group but also for helping players that come to visit Malta or even sort out issues among local players. He also has helped grow the mixed-game community in Malta and strongly pushes a weekly 8-Game tournament here at Portomaso Casino.
A massive congrats to DiGiorgio on the victory and we wish him the best of luck when he is back in action in the Grand Event and other side events.
