Palumbo First on the Rail on Day 1d

Level 1: 100/100 (100)
Entries: 128/129

Francesco Palumbo was the first player to hit the rail on Day 1d. We haven’t seen him hop back in just yet but he has plenty of time to do so if he so chooses with late registration open for at least six more hours.

Brian Calleja, who is also at the table, brought the hand to our attention while the hand’s winner Samuel Olave broke down the details.

Palumbo bet 3,000 into a pot of a little more after the 653 were dealt on the flop. Olave raised to 8,000 and Palumbo called. Palumbo check-called a bet of 13,000 on the A turn by Olave before jamming the 6 river. Olave called and turned over the 33 for a full house. This was more than good against his opponent’s KK to double his stack.

Samuel Olave – 100,000
Francesco Palumbo – 0
