Scorgie Runs Into a Better Pair

Level 3: 200/300 (300)
Entries: 159/163

Three British players got tangled up in a hand, although one got out early as follows.

Albert Sapiano limped from the cutoff. Jonathan Schuman limped behind from the button before James Scorgie raised to 1,500 from the small blind. Sapiano called and Schuman folded.

Scorgie fired out for 3,000 on the 5104 flop. Sapiano called before he called another bet by Scorgie to 6,500 on the K turn.

The 6 river completed the board. Scorgie bet 8,000 this time around and Sapiano called again.

Scorgie turned over the A10 for a flopped top pair. However, Sapiano won the hand after showing the K7 as the turn gave him a better pair.

Albert Sapiano – 115,000
James Scorgie – 80,000
Jonathan Schuman – 50,000
