Louis Le Boisselier opened for 4,000 from under the gun and was called by Jean Segonne from the big blind. Thibaut Thevenet three-bet jammed for 28,000 from the button.

Le Boisselier went into the tank for close to a minute before he jammed for about double that. Segonne quickly folded and the cards were turned over.

No love came for Thevenet on the 6♣ turn or the 4♦ river and he will have to try again during one of the other three opening flights if he wishes to advance to Day 2 and beyohnd.
