The €1,100 High Roller attracted 106 entries on its opening day to add €101,760 to the prize pool. Just 33 players found a bag led by local hero Mark Vella, who late-entered after a deep run in the Grand Event with 275,000.
Jordi Ribatallada Ruiz and Julien Da Silva also managed to bag more than 200,000. More players will file in tomorrow with late registration open for the first two blind levels of the day. Check out the seat draw below:
The clock stopped jus a few minutes into the new blind level after James Ablott lost his stack in 25th place. The final 24 players will be redrawing before bagging and tagging their chips into tomorrow final day.

Jake Allen min-raised from middle position before Andrea Kapp three-bet shoved for 1.1 million from the button. Allen quickly called and Kapp needed a lot of help.

Vilde Ekren won the Ladies First! event yesterday and is one of two ladies still in the mix today alongside Indre Stanaityte. Ekren had a little bit of lady luck on her side to stay alive in the following hand.
Ekren open-jammed for 830,000 from middle position and was called by Matte Karjalainen for less from a couple of seats over and by Ashley Harrison from the small blind.
Ekren nailed a set to oust Karjalainen while also doubling through Harrison on the 8♦6♥2♠7♥A♣ board. Joining Karjalainen on the rail were Barrile Gianpiero, Antonio Merone, and Francesco Canzonieri to leave 30 players remaining.

Matthew Vicarage min-raised from early position before James Ablott jammed for more than 2 million from the small blind. Ashley Harrison got in the mix with his big stack from the big blind and Vicarage folded.
