Arthur Navellou extended his chip lead to more than half the chips in play in a hand that took close to 10 minutes to play out. It all began when Navellou opened for 1.625 million from the small blind. Leif Hetland defended from the big blind.

Navellou led out for 1.6 million on the Q♣7♦2♠ flop. Hetland called before both players checked the 8♥ turn.

The J♥ river completed the board. Navellou fired out for 5.2 million about 2 minutes later. Hetland tanked for about the same amount of time before he found a call.

Navellou immediately turned over the J♠8♠ and his two pair won the hand after Hetland mucked his cards.
