Level 30: 125,000/250,000 (250,000)
Arthur Navellou opened for 600,000 from under the gun. Robert Kontkanen was down to just 700,000 and got this in from the small blind. Kjetil Hanstvedt called from the big blind as did Navellou.
Hanstvedt fired out for 300,000 on the A♥5♦4♠ flop and Navellou called. Navellou called a bet of 1,000,000 on the 3♦ turn before giving up facing a 2,800,000 bet on the Q♠ river.
“Sorry,” said Hanstvedt to Kontkanen.
Kontkainen tabled the K♠6♦ and was eliminated in seventh place for €19,100 after Hanstvedt turned over the 2♥2♠ for a wheel.
The final six locked up at least a €25,100 payout. In addition, after this level, the clock will run with 40-minute blind levels instead of the hour levels we began the day with.
